Research And Analysis On The Characteristics Of Technique And Tactics Of The World’s Best Male Tennis Players In Hard Court Games

With the development of tennis, the competition on the arenas is heating up, any slight difference in the game will be infinitely enlarged. New technologies and tactics are constantly created, in order to take full advantage of one’s own limited competition field to attack and defense with a desire to win the game.In this paper, we utilize methods, such as literature material, video observation of statistics, comparative analysis and so on. We analyze eight world’s best tennis players’characteristics of tactics, which were showed in20games of2011, and2010Australian Tennis Open and2010U.S. Open. We get the following conclusions1、The battings at the height of shoulder-knee and below knees are mainly concentrated in the backcourt, and those above the height of shoulder mainly appear in midfield; the left way in the backcourt is the main area of mutual confrontation. In terms of scores, the closer to the net and at the higher place the ball is batted, the more scores can be got.2、The features of batting angle are:the closer to the net, the less utilization of non-angle shots. In the middle area, the closer to the net, the more utilization of large-angle shots. In scoring, the closer to the net, the higher the percentage of scores taken by changing angles will be.3、The third shot and hitting point are mainly near to the other side’ s boarder region in the backcourt. At the forth shot, the spatial characteristics of the usage rate of hitting point at the height of shoulder-knee is midfield>backcourt, that at the height below the knee is backcourt>midfield and one may get the lowest percentage of scores if the ball falls on the other side’s midfield. 4、The driving skills with both forehand and backhand, chopping, driving a ball with forehand in sideways are mainly used in the backcourt at the height of shoulder-knee. In getting scores, besides chopping, with the other three skills, one can scores higher if he gets closer to the net. The higher the ball is, the more scores will be got. On the contrary, the lower the ball is, the less scores can be got.5、Offensive driving technique is essential in receving and serving the ball, the utilization rate of driving is above48%while receiving a service, the rates roar to85%while receiving the second one. More than55%of the balls received shall return to the deep area, and more than50%run in the middle way.6、The serving stage:The first batting in the dividing area focuses on the exterior side spin and interior-angle flat stroke. Flat stroke is essential and main side spin is auxiliary at the fist batting area; flat stroke is essential while serving an exterior angle ball.
