Research On American Community College Teacher Management And Running Forms Under The Vision Of Adult Education

Community colleges in the United States have a long history of development. They play an important role in social development and educational equity of the United States. The American community colleges have a complete system of teacher management, such as how to select and employ teachers, the training system about teacher’s development, attractive pay and benefits system and teacher’s promotion system; American Community Colleges are leaded by state government. The purpose of them is serving the community, so they have a kind of equal and open school environment. Adult education in China can get some inspiration and reference from the above two. On one hand, we should strive to improve teacher training system, strengthen the management of part-time teachers, establish teacher hiring and evaluation system and do efforts to improve the teachers’ salary and benefits; On the other hand, we should promote cooperation in running Community Colleges, strengthen the ties with social and make use of high technologies to driven colleges’ development.
