Nowadays they are not a group ofspecial and insignificant any more but who is in the main part and plays the mainroles in the Independent Colleges, whose thought and behavior will greatly influencethe Non-single Child students. The Single-child students of the Independent Collegesis the valuable human resources of our country, the hope and future of our nation.They are also the successor and builder of our socialism with Chinese characteristics,and the backbone to support the future aged society. Independent College, which isthe outcome of the market economy, although has different character and schoolrunning models with other universities, abide by the socialist education policy as asocialist university, focuses on cultivating qualified builder of socialism of Chinesecharacteristics. Cultivating talents, to cultivate out which kind of students, is the keyproblem the Independent Colleges faced. To take cultivating students as the basis inthe college education, put moral education in the first step in the all around moraldevelopment education, which showes the ideological and political quality is the mostimportant quality to a student. In Independent college the ideological and politicalquality of the Single-child students not only influence on their healthy grow up andwell education, but also influence on the self development of the Independent College,moreover influence on the future of our country. Currently, ideological and politicaleducation of the Single-child student in the Independent College is still at thepreliminary stage, which is also lacking of pertinence and effectiveness.From the perspective of the importance and particularity of the ideological andpolitical education of the Single-child student in the Independent college, this articleindicates this education is a special process according to its special subject,environment, content and model.
