Aging of population is recognized as one of the most important social problem in the twenty-first Century, which attracted attention all of the world, can properly solve the series of problems that brought by the aging of the population related to the social harmony and progress. Leisure is an essential part of the old people’s life, as the capital city of Hunan Province, the leisure industry of Changsha develop rapid, the entertainment industry as a part of the leisure industry, its influence is extended to all parts of the country. This research attempts to study the Changsha municipal elderly recreational activity participation, and analyze its effects on senile spiritual life satisfaction.The full text is divided into five chapters.The first chapter is the introduction, briefly introduced the background, the theory and reality significance of this research and finally is the literature review.The second chapter is the Research design. Mainly introduced the basic theory, research hypothesis, the core concept, and the research variables define, finally introduced the investigation object and their basic information.The third chapter is the elderly recreational activity participation situation. This part mainly decrypted the activity participation of the old people, and summed up six characteristics.The fourth chapter is the key chapter of the text, mainly investigated the basic condition of old people’s spiritual life in Changsha city and analyzed the influence brought by recreational activity participation, and finally confirmed the research hypothesis.The fifth chapter is the summary of the discussion, explored the enlightenment brought by this study, and pointed out the shortcomings of the study.
