In Colleges And Universities In Shanghai And The Surrounding Community Sports Resources Sharing Present Situation And Countermeasure Research

With the deepening of the national physical fitness program andthe building of harmonious society, university and community sportsshow their great importance in the development of society andnational welfare. In the context of current economy, the problems interms of unreasonable use of university sports resources andinadequate allocation of community sports resources are widespread.How to make effective and reasonable use of sports resources and tomaximize its benefits is the big challenge we face.This study takes surrounding community sports as its research objectto get the better implementation of the national physical fitnessprogram and further promote the development process of mass sports.Field investigation and questionnaire are carried out to analyze theactual situation about sharing university sports resources in surroundingcommunities in shanghai. The research results show that the universitiesand their surrounding communities have few ways of communication,also lack of professional organizations and instructors. The role ofuniversity sports human resources has not been fully played. It has thepossibility to share the sports fields and sports human resources with theuniversities in surrounding communities. Most facilities in the universityare open to their surrounding communities for free, such as athletic field,basketball court and football field. Badminton hall, swimming pool andtennis hall are open on business basis. Safety for teachers and students,site damage and injury by accident become the restriction to the sportsfacilities opening to the pubic. Lacking of sports site, instructors and timealso become the major factors to restrict the development ofcommunity sports. Information exchange is a weak link among theinteractions between universities and their surrounding communities.The single ways of propaganda for sports information, limited information and uneven quality of the publicity staff, all of which restrictthe effective communication and interactions between university sportsand community sports.In view of this, this study puts forward some countermeasures to theproblems in sharing university sports resources with surroundingcommunities. In order to solve those problems, we should unite athought of establishing the organizations. The overall managementsystem should be established and the exchange of information shouldbe enhanced. Besides, the platform of sharing sports resourcesbetween universities and communities should be built. Meanwhile, toexpanse the community sports volunteer team, to play universityresearch strengths, to integrate and develop sports resources is alsoquite important.
