| The society is developing, the times are changing. University is also in the ongoing reforms and changing. From the new century, China’s higher education achieves the "leapfrog" development of higher education from elite to mass. However, it also faces a variety of development challenges while making gratifying achievements. With the deepening reform of university education in China, problems arise such as:the Chief of the university education system, the official standard thinking has become increasingly prominent, academic corruption is worsening, personnel training mode convergence and other issues continue to emerge, and become the bottleneck of restricting China’s educational reform and development. Studying the thought of Jaspers’ university education makes an important reference and guidance role in university education reform of our country today.This paper focuses on the Jaspers’ Thought of Higher Education and the revelation about University Education Reform in China. The main content consists of three parts:Part â… :Introduction part. This part specified the topics of origins and significance of the subject, analyzed the Prior Research on this subject, and then came to the ideas of this study and defined the article’s core concept of "university education".Part â…¡:This section included chapter two and chapter three. The second chapter analyzed Jaspers’educational experience and practice, took his educational experiences into three stages:early childhood education, primary and secondary education and university education. The third chapter discussed Jaspers’educational thought of university and background theory origin, analyzed their university education background from Germany (both domestic and international dimensions), and clarified the two theoretical origins in its educational thought:existentialism philosophy and educational philosophy of humanism.Part â…¢:This section included two chapters:chapter four and five.They were the focus of this study. First, I researched his concept of universities, university education, and university education reform under the combination of Jaspers educational experience and living environment, interpreted his view from the University of the nature of the universe, truth-seeking concept, the functional concept of the dual teaching and research university, university autonomy and academic freedom; elaborated his university education from the conception of the nature of mental life born of university education and the "whole person" education purpose, the knowledge of the universe and Socratic education, communication, dialogue and cultivate and wake; read his college and university education reform point of view from material culture, institutional culture and spiritual culture. Then binding of university education reform and development of the status in China pointed out their university education thinking, made the reference of university education reform in our country. At last, drew the conclusion that university education reform and development should adhere to and implement people-oriented university education philosophy, also adhere to the combination of teaching and research of the principle of liberal education-based, supplemented by specialized education to protect university autonomy and academic freedom in a reasonable and effective way. |
