Peasant Workers' Social Support Network And City Fusion Research

In recent years, more and more migrant workers leave their villages to the city to become the main force of urban construction with the country pay more and more attention to the three rural issues and the development of urbanization. They are not only making historic contribution for our economic and social development, but also becoming the main source of China’s urban population growth, and attracting more and more attention from the state and society. Although a large number of migrant workers pour into the cities make a substantial contribution to urban economic development, they also bring a series of social problems. Current the integration of the migrant workers into the city is the main one.Social support network is a network of social relations of migrant workers establish in life. On the one hand, it provides material assistance to migrant workers; on the other hand, it provides spiritual help to migrant workers, so social support network can promote the integration of migrant workers well. Therefore, this article analyzes the status and features of Xi’an migrant workers of formal and informal social support network and the relationship between them and migrant workers urban integration through the social capital theory and the social network theory. The full text is divided into six parts:Part1is introduction. In this part, the author mainly expounds the research background and research significance of migrant workers social support network and urban integration. Then it introduces the theoretical perspective and research methods. This article is mainly used the methods of the literature and interviews.Part2is the concept definition and literature review. In this part, the author defends the relevant concepts involved, then summarizes and analyzes the status of migrant workers social support network in home and abroad. Researching the relationship of migrant workers social support networks and urban integration in domestic and proposing the advantages of this paper.Part3mainly analyzes the formal social support network of migrant workers. It expounds the status and characteristics of formal social support network of migrant workers. Then the author analyzes the effect of the formal social support network on migrant workers urban integration.Part4mainly analyzes the informal social support network of migrant workers. It expounds the status and characteristics of informal social support network of migrant workers. Then it analyzes the effect of the informal social support network on migrant workers urban integration.Finally, this paper draws some conclusions and describes the lack of this research. The results show that:migrant workers urban integration showing homogeneous integration high, heterogeneous integration difficult. Different types of social support networks play an integral role for the city integration of migrant workers, but formal social support network can better promote the integration of migrant workers in cities. Currently, the social support networks of migrant workers in Xi’an lack of dominant in a formal and informal social support networks has some limitations. So we need to strengthen the construction of the formal social support as the leading, supplemented by Informal social support, such a strong social support system of migrant workers. In order to better promote China’s migrant workers on urban integration.
