With the development of economic, the success of the reform and open policy and the world globalization, English becomes more and more important in the basic education of our country. The skills of foreign language and computer have already become necessary skills of a high-quality personnel in the21st century. In such a big situation, the issues of English language teaching and about how to improve the efficiency of learning English become particularly important. In the continuous process of practice, educators’ understanding of the teaching of English has also been increasing.The emergence of humanistic psychology promoted the key point of English language teaching research gradually shifted from teacher-centered "how to teach" to the student-based "how to learn" level. In recent years, many researchers have studied the phenomenon of anxiety in foreign language courses by using the theory of anxiety. In practice, because of its uniqueness compared to other subjects, English is more likely to lead student to anxiety emotion. For foreign language learning and foreign language learning anxiety in a variety of negative emotional reactions and psychological discomfort, foreign educators has already paid sufficient attention to, and conduct more in-depth studies.However, due to the gap of education system, educational objectives and educational methods, the research of foreign language teaching in secondary schools in China have not been paid attention to. What’s more, in the teaching process, the emotional care is also ignored. The student-oriented research combined with anxiety theory is rare.Proceeding from this shortage, we conducted a survey about foreign language learning anxiety of high school students. Based on the study of anxiety at home and abroad, using the results to the relevant theory, we discussed this problem by literature review, questionnaire survey method, quantitative analysis and other means.This subject set360students in full-time general secondary schools-Shajing Middle School as a study object. Using literature as the theoretical basis, by the questionnaire data collected from the reality based on a combination of quantitative study of the SPSS software, to enable students in the English learning process anxiety factor. On the basis of that, the author developed pilot teaching to the students in the survey above. By considering the factors of anxiety influence and observing the settlement strategy of the implementation process, the author makes recommendations for improvement. The result can be used for education departments and related professional development as reference.
