Higher vocational education is designed according to the production, management, service and theneed of social development, culture has both the university level of professional knowledge, and strongpractice ability and technical personnel and senior management personnel, technical education is a kind ofspecial skills and education, scientific and cultural education is the education of humanistic knowledge,including the scientific literacy of students, innovative thinking training. But the present higher vocationaleducation have emerged in the skills training, despise the knowledge of science and culture phenomenon,which makes a part of higher vocational students innovation ability, sustainable development ability isrestricted, this paper tries to find out the relationship between the two research, technology applicationeducation and scientific and cultural education to coordinate the way of development, so as to promote thehigher vocational students comprehensive development.The development of science and technology promotes the development of society, higher vocationalcollege students is not only the application of science and technology, and science and technologypromoters, is our country manufacturing industry develops flourishingly main army, so it is necessary tocultivate high skills, high level talents, higher vocational students have strong professional skills, and havebroad scientific and cultural knowledge, create more wealth for the society. The first part of the thesisintroduces the purpose of Higher Vocational Education in our country and the technology applicationeducation and education of science and culture connotation. The second part of China’s higher vocationaleducation are analyzed. Firstly, a part of the vocational college attached to the skill education situation,mainly in the curriculum, teaching methods, the requirement of obtain employment. Secondly our higher vocational education to despise scientific culture education, points out that vocational college studentsideological recognition deviation, curriculum, learning time, scientific and cultural qualities of the shortagesituation. The third part elaborated our country higher vocational education development problems in.China’s Higher Vocational Education of scientific and cultural education unbalance, not only the part ofhigher vocational students affected by the development, but also to some higher vocational teachers bringsome problems. The fourth part explores the technology application education and education of scienceand culture and the relationship between the coordinated development of both pathways, introduces indetail the technology application education and scientific and cultural education to coordinate the measureof development.The author thinks, technical education emphasizes is a kind of education, pay attention to the students’operating ability, and the education of science and culture of them attach importance to the externalqualities, namely the development of human quality education, between which there is a complementaryrelationship, our higher vocational education demands two balanced development, in order to better topromote the sound development of Higher Vocational students."Basic theoretical knowledge, technologyapplied ability, wide range, high quality talents training mode should" get be popularizinged generally,professional knowledge, light theory, heavy technology learning, students ignored the science and culturequality education phenomenon should be curbed...
