In the 1950 s, Austin, the British language philosopher, established the speech act theory,the main point is "talking is doing things", namely the illocutionary meaning of speech acttheory. Speech act theory correlates human behavior with language. It is of great importance inthe philosophy of language development.Education can’t go without language, education has anatural dependence on language, in the former research, whether the language of education,the language of instruction or language of teacher, not break away from the languageinstrumental, not meet to speak is a kind of behavior, Take speech act theory into educationresearch for what view to provide a new perspective. "Talking is doing things" is the logicalstarting point for this paper, teachers’ speech act thinks that the teachers’ talking is a kind ofbehavior, make teachers’ talking and behavior linked together , contributed to a deeperunderstanding of the nature of the teachers’ talking, contribute to a profound understanding ofteachers’ practice.This paper tries to construct the theory framework of teacher speech actillocutionary, practice function is one of the most important function of teacher speech acts ,and put forward the metaphor is the highest level for illocutionary meaning. Through to theteacher speech act for illocutionary meaning; the research on teachers’ language has a newunderstanding, pay attention to the teacher language to better use the language.The article is divided into five parts:The first part: The introduction. Mainly introduces the domestic and foreign on speech acttheory of teacher, applied for the illocutionary meaning of the research history and relatedresearch results of existing research results, described the research illustrates the purpose,significance and the research methods.The second part: the teacher speech act for illocutionary meaning was summarized.Through the speech act theory of the related concept, define the teacher speech act forillocutionary meaning; the connotation, analyzes the impact of teachers’ speech acts of theimplementation of the conditions for the teachers’ illocutionary act.Part 3: The structure and function of teachers’ illocutionary act . In its structure, the paperdiscusses the main body and media for illocutionary meaning. teachers’ illocutionary act havedialogue, communication, practice functions, and the essence is the practical function Part 4: Enhancing teachers’ illocutionary act’ s validity.Teachers’ conception update is thekey of improving teachers illocutionary act, relevant theories is deepening improving teachersillocutionary act; metapher is a teacher illocutionary act ’ s the highest level.Part 5: Conclusion: illocutionary--- impact and change the educational reality through theteachers’ illocutionary act.
