"The national long-term education reform and development plan outline " that:strengthen sports, firmly establish the concept of health first,"the2010national student physical and health survey results "mentioned that towns, cities middle school students’ physical development is not balanced, appear not optimistic attitude, and high school is also the value formation of teenagers an important period of sports values of the form,affect their healthy growth and the formation of the good personality, intensify the student sports values of the training, build up the faith of lifelong physical education, and promote the improvement of students’ physical, mental and physical health of the harmonious development.Based on more social background, the physiological and psychological change in middle school students of the phase to sports value for study enjoyed, select the underdevelopment of economy in southwest area for research, urban and rural middle school students as the research object, the urban and rural middle school students of different sports value, urban and rural middle school students find sports value structure, and the difference analysis, urban and rural middle school students for a clear view of sports value structure, the cultivation of the sports value for reference, promote the urban and rural areas in southwest middle school sports teaching reform and middle school students’ good personality, the formation of the lifelong sports concept, rich sports value research theory system. The results:1) design township high school students, middle school students, the city in southwest sports value scale of urban and rural middle school students, the test of reliability and validity is good, can be used as the tool of township high school students, middle school students evaluate city, urban and rural middle school students in southwest sports values.2) on the basis of verification in southwest city high school students, middle school students township sports value structure southwest of middle school students sports value structure, get township high school students in southwest sports values structure system is by two levels and nine dimensions constitutes. The first level (individual sports value) including physiology health values, sports entertainment values, character values, beliefs to confirm values, group identity values, education training values six dimensions constitutes; The second level (social sports value) including harmony and stability values, national unity values, social economic values three dimensions constitutes. Southwest city high school sports value by the health values, values, social values, fun ability, social values and national values six structure. In the above sports value above the structure, urban and rural middle school students get the sports value theory structure by physiology health values, sports entertainment values, by physiology health values, sports entertainment values, individual character and values, national and social beliefs values on four dimensions constitutes, physiology health values is the core values of sports value.3) in southwest of middle school students sports value is good, different gender of city high school students, rural middle school students is significant differences in sports values and each dimension, different health of city high school students, middle school students and rural middle school students significant difference in sports values and each dimension.Research shortage:sports value is the people’s psychological activities, the opinions involve factor that can’t explain sports value structure of all the factors, may sports value structure include other factors, the causes may be due to less, a theory research data are insufficient, samples of little content, enrich the connotation of sports value theory and structure and further expand the amount of sample in the future research process; This study is from gender, educational level, the sports health condition attribute features such as urban and rural middle school students in the western sports value analysis, but gender characteristics, cultural degree features the influence of sports values for middle school students have more extent, the future research further is a regression analysis.
