The core of education is instruction, and the key of the instruction is teachers. Cultivating excellent teachers is the goal of reformation for teacher education all over the world. Teachers’ professional has strong practical literacy. Therefore, the qualities of field experiences determine the quality of the teachers in a certain extent. But field experiences of pre-service teacher education, which is an important part of teacher education curriculum system and aims to cultivate the practical literacy of pre-service teachers, at present exist a lot of problems in our country. The essay starts with the concerns about the dilemma of our teacher education field experiences, systematically studies field experiences of per-service teacher education in the elementary education program in Michigan State University, aiming to provide the enlightenments for our country.The essay can be divided into six parts.The first part is the introduction part, it discusses the reasons of the research, the research status in and abroad, the definition of related concepts, the design of the research, including research ideas, contents and methods.The second part analyses the setting background of field experiences of per-service teacher education in Michigan State University from the aspects of history, society and theory.The third part analyses the formation of field experiences of per-service teacher education in the elementary education program in Michigan State University from four aspects, including the curriculum standards, content, implementation and evaluation.The forth part is the effect analysis. From three main aspects of the content of forming teachers’professional development, including professional knowledge, professional competence and professional ideals, it illustrates the efficiency in the implementation of field experiences of per-service teacher education in the elementary education program in Michigan State University.The fifth part analyses the characteristics of field experiences of per-service teacher education in the elementary education program in Michigan State University based on the full understanding from different angles.The sixth part discusses the experiences that we can learn from the United States, based on the fact of our country after summarizing the rounded analysis of field experiences of per-service teacher education in the elementary education program in Michigan State University.
