Research On The Reflecting Factors And Sustainable Development Of Sunshine Sports Campaign In The Middle Schools In Yuyao

In the recent years, there is a disturbing trend in China that more and more teenagers becomeunhealthy. To solve the problem, a decision was made by the Ministry of Education, GeneralAdministration of sport and Central Committee of the Communist Youth League in2006to carryout the Sunshine Sports Campaign around the whole country, which showed us the big decision toenhance the physique of all the teenagers and cultivate them into comprehensive developed.Therefore, all the primary schools and middle schools in China have been in response to the call,and carried out all kinds of sports, then had some effect. However, during the process, thereappeared many problems. As a result, it is especially important to make a survey and find out theproblems and the solutions.The object of this research is the present situation of Sunshine Sports Campaign, and theobjects of the surveys are middle school students, PE teachers and the school leaders. At last, bymeans of literature data method, questionnaire method, interview method and tracking surveymethod, here comes the conclusion that the middle schools in Yuyao are carrying out SunshineSports Campaign basically, and a small number of them even established a leading group for it, sothat the overall situation is satisfied, while there are still some problems to be solved.Based on the situation above, this research is to analyze the reasons which stop thedevelopment of Sunshine Sports Campaign in nine ways, such as comprehension to SunshineSports Campaign, students’ factors, students’ gains, the school organization, propagandize,equipment and playground, teachers and fees, the environment, safety of sports, supervise andencourage. Finally, this research gives some specific suggestions: change ideas; increasepropagandist strength; strengthening organization and leadership; perfect sports facilities; createnew teaching methods, form better systems for supervising and encouragement. All of those arepromoting the sustainable development of Sunshine Sports Campaign in the middle schools inYuyao.
