In recent years, socialization of college students has attracted public attention. Theprimary goal of high education lies in qualified personnel who can integrate intosociety and serve it, in which they will prove whether they received qualifiededucation. College students take jobs after graduation to create value for society aswell as achieve their self-value, which depends on the level of socialization ofcollege students.In network era, network and network virtual group influence the socialization ofcollege students which should not be neglected. Characterized with strong desire forknowledge, college students spend plenty of time on participating in various ofnetwork virtual group, which enlarge their social relation network and meet thedemands on self-development. However, anonymity and relative freedom of networkaffect college students to some extent. This article will focus on the personalitysocialization of college students, including the effect of self-knowledge,interpersonal communication and intellectual skills.This article is composed of four parts. The first part introduces the object andmethod of research.The second part briefly outlines features of network virtual group, and analyzesbasic information on college students participating in network virtual group byquestionnaire, which includes motivation, involvement and the effects of networkgroup.The third part probes into action mechanism and affect approach of networkvirtual group on the college students’ personality socialization by depth interviewand involving experience with6571.com net group.The last part concludes the double effects and reasons of network virtual group oncollege students’ socialization, and brings up advices on leading college studentsparticipating in network virtual group and regulate it.
