| People have been probing constantly on the research of Man’s comprehensive development of which there is a long history and different people stand on a different class attitude in different historical periods. In this paper, we will find a new realistic way of man’s comprehensive development by reviewing Marx’s comprehensive theory of people and probing into it of which is the heritage and development of man’s comprehensive development and analyzing the relationship between two of them. At present, it has important theoretical and practical significance to set up and carry out the concept of scientific development, promote the continuous development of the Chinese characteristics socialist modernization construction and make the well-off society comes true. There are introduction, main text including four parts and conclusion of this paper.The introduction section mainly expounds the research purpose and significance of this paper and summarizes the research status about the comprehensive development in and abroad, illustrates the research ideas and methods, sums up the keys and the main characteristics of the paper.The first chapter outlines the form and the content of Marx man’s comprehensive development theory. Firstly, it straightens out Marx man’s comprehensive development theory from ancient Greece to Renaissance and enlightenment thinkers and utopian socialists of which all provide rich information to Marx man’s comprehensive development theory.
