The Social Control Of Muslim’s Economic Activities In China

China is in the period of social transformation from tradition to modern. Social transformation, on the one hand, greatly promoted the development of the economy. On the other hand, due to the loss of traditional social authority and the original social control means, it produced a large number of social anomie phenomenon. This article provide a train of thought for the transformation of china to build modern economic order through analyzing the main means of social control in Linxia Hui Autonomous Prefecture of Gansu Province, where there is extremely religious atmosphere. As the main means of social control, law has its advantages. It has limitations as while. Therefore, it not only relies on the laws to build a modern economic social order, but also the main means of control in traditional social which we should excavate.This paper consists of four parts:The introduction mainly is the explanation of the basic concept. Firstly, it narrates the background of the concept of social control which is put forward by Ross and the concept of social control in the sense of sociology. Secondly, it briefly narrates the relationship between law and society control and criticizes the ways of the previous scholars on the research of hui nationality. Although law is the main means of social control, the effect of other means cannot be ignored. Finally, it confesses the basic situation of the study area in this paper.The first chapter introduced the significance of research in this paper through the reflection of ways for handling social problems of China’s transformation. It also introduced the dispute resolution mechanism of Muslim economic social half a religious.The second chapter, mainly introduces the unique role of specimen, education, religion, opinion "mouth calls" and other main means of social control in Linxia Hui Autonomous Prefecture, to build the economic social order.
