In recent years, with the development of urbanization, industrial heritage hasbecome a topic of widespread concern. In June2006, the State Administration ofCultural Heritage of China’s industrial heritage protection promulgated the firstdocument-Wuxi recommends ", this signifies that China’s industrial heritageprotection into the stage of exploration and research. In the early1960s, Westerncountries began to study the problem of industrial heritage, has formed a relativelycomplete system of legal protection. Of the industrial heritage of the starting time isshort and somewhat lacking, especially in the industrial heritage conservation policyresearch, specifically in the theoretical system of the system is not yet formed,imperfect laws and regulations, research is fragmented. Tie xi District, Shenyang City,the northeast old industrial base, for example, research-based theory of industrialheritage protection policies, first study the status quo of the industrial heritageprotection policies of the West District, followed by analysis of the West DistrictIndustrial Heritage Protection policy formulation and problems in the implementationprocess and learn from the successful experience at home and abroad, and finally I putforward the recommendations of the industrial Heritage Protection Policy Research.The author through the use of literature, case study method and site visits to industrialheritage protection policy research questions the following recommendations: First,the Government to promote the theoretical study of the industrial heritage protectionpolicies, and clear the main industrial heritage protection policy implementation, aswell as government by expanding publicity efforts to create universal participation inthe protection mechanism.
