The environmental pollution problems have touched the nerve of the society. Atpresent, the environmental pollution of China is at its peak, the environmental pollutionof enterprises, especially the environmental tort arouse deeply concern. Compare withthe environmental pollution during the existence of enterprises, the environmentalpollution after the dissolution of enterprises is also notable. Because the investigation ofenvironmental pollution liability after the dissolution of enterprises is tougher, physicaland psychological pain suffered by the victim is stronger. This paper aims to seek aremedy for the victims of environmental tort through the study of environmentalliability after the dissolution of enterprises.Firstly, the author try to find out the root,clear the connotation and analyze thecharacteristics of environmental liability after the dissolution of the enterprises throughcombing the basic theories.Secondly, this paper analysis the legislation actuality of environmental liabilityafter the dissolution of the enterprises. Although there are relevant provisions inour civil and environmental laws, but the provisions of environmental liability afterthe dissolution of enterprises is not yet clear. The author concludes the legislationactuality of environmental liability after the dissolution of the enterprises from differentangles.Finally, the author gives conclusions and suggestions from the angle of the legallevel and institutional level. The legal levels are mainly about the subject and propertydistribution after the dissolution of enterprises. Institutional level is about the protectionthe interests of the victims and the public through improves the environmental liabilityinsurance.
