Research On The Present Situation,Problems And Countermeasures Of Non-profit Organizations In Hubei Province

With the socio-economic development and transformation of government functions in China, the growth of non-profit organization continues to expand. A number of charitable organizations, environmental organizations, academic research organizations and not-profit organizations have got a rapid development. Different from the government enterprises, social organizations had actively participated in social and public affairs, market-oriented operation, in the promotion of social welfare, and in distressing the poor, the publicity of environmental protection, education and culture. Reconstruction has played an important role, not only to make up for the government inefficient deficiencies, but also for social influence in increasingly people’s attention.Hubei Province, as one of the most economically developed provinces of central China, in recent years, social structure optimization, all-round social progress, people’s living standards have markedly improved. Non-profit organizations work to alleviate social contradictions, and the provision of social services also achieved some success. Throughout the development point of view, Hubei Province, although the most populated province, is also the earlier history of the development of the non-profit organization. But on the present situation, the number of non-profit organizations remains low, the scale is still small, coupled with the lack of effective management experience, There are inevitably some problems in the development process. It can be said that the non-profit organizations are still the weak link of the province’s social development. For the requirements of the development of the Hubei, a new type of industrialization and urbanization could not achieve.To solve the above problems, this article discussed from five sections.Part Ⅰ:Introduction section, introduces the background to the study, research status, the significance of the study, research methods, as well as innovative and inadequacies.Part Ⅱ:definition of the concepts involved in this study and describes the theoretical basis. The use of government/market failure theory, good governance theory, social capital theory, the civil society theory, explain the necessity and importance of the non-profit organizations.Part III:An Empirical Study on the development status of the non-profit organizations in Hubei Province. First introduced the basic situation of the non-profit organizations, followed by introduction of the achievements of non-profit organizations, the final analysis of the environment for the development of the non-profit organizations.Part IV:Through large amounts of data and interviews of the relevant person in charge, points out the main problem faced by the non-profit organizations in Hubei Province, and its attribution analysis.Part V:analysis of specific measures to promote the healthy development of non-profit organizations in Hubei Province. This part focuses on innovative government management, increased government support; optimize the internal management of nonprofit organizations operating mechanism, and strengthen their own capacity-building; reinforce social basis, and actively cultivate these three aspects of the civil society respectively. To commence detailed discussions to explore the non-profit organizations faced with the predicament of the solution.
