With the development of IT and internet-multi-media technology, blog, forum and twitter are gradually being well-known and accepted by public, the Internet has played a significant role in our country’s political, economic and social life. On the one hand, it makes the government public relations activities more convenient and efficient; on the other hand, it has become a new channel for our citizens to exercise their rights to know, to express, to participate and to supervise public affairs. Due to the efficiency of network communication, the government can quickly release news and information to the public through the official websites, official blogs, online forums and other various internet media channel; the public can access those news and information though internet anytime anywhere, can interact through the network channels with the government, and publish their opinions and suggestions. Government network public relationship is committed on the basis of the electronic media to better serve the public, to improve work efficiency, to listen to the public opinions, to gain public support and understanding, to contribute on becoming an efficient, convenient, democratic government. Government network public relationship is a new type of administrative method, brings huge convenience on government work, and also brings unprecedented impact on it. It brings significant opportunities and massive challenges at the same time, which is like a double-edged sword. Therefore, it has attracted the attention of the majority of scholars that, how to make the government public relations to achieve good results using internet media channels, especially under China’s particular circumstances. Therefore, it has become imminent that how to us characteristics of the network to research on the quality and efficiency of government public relationship work.In this paper, an overview of the basic theory and characteristics of the government public relationship, and discussion of impact of e-government and Internet users on the network of public relationship, explain the pros and cons of the network of public relationship in our country at this stage based on two cases, listed experience of the United Kingdom. Japan and Singapore governments. The last section mentioned a few suggestions on improvement of public relations in the network environment. This topic has certain value of reference on the public relationship activities of the Chinese government.Through compared with the developed countries, the Chinese government network public relations still has a long way to go. Because both state of investment and related personnel is convenient, there is lack in our country. How to in China’s current national conditions, on the basis of absorbing foreign advanced experience of e-government, the government network pr experience is urgent.
