Research On Youth Volunteer Service Of Panjin City

After more than ten years of development，Youth volunteer service at ourcountry has formed certain scale. The whole society has been realized that thevolunteer service has a very important role to socialist morality and spiritualcivilization construction.In Beijing, Shanghai and other big cities, volunteer servicehas been very mature. But in most of the small and medium-sized cities like Panjin,volunteer service has a lot of problems. So research youth volunteer of Panjin hasvery vital significance to Panjin the small and medium-sized cities.This paper is divided into five parts, the first part is the introduction, introducethe paper’s background and the research significance, the research contents and theresearch framework, and the related literature about youth volunteers. Chapter1firstdefine the youth volunteer and volunteer organizations; Next to confirm the theory ofvoluntary failure and the application in this paper. The second chapter presents theyoung volunteer service of Panjin. Through the youth volunteer organization setting,service type and voluntary service features, produce effect and the function, to portraythe development of the Panjin youth volunteer service. Chapter3with the Salamonvoluntary failure as the basic theory framework, combined with the second chapterPanjin youth volunteer service status, summarizes the Panjin youth volunteer serviceproblems and the reasons. Including youth volunteers have insufficient resources,difficult to prop up long-term volunteer activity; Volunteer organization hard to attractprofessional personnel to join, lead to provide service efficiency is low; As a kind ofnongovernmental organizations, the youth volunteer in some fields can’t provideprofessional services, service mode is too simplification and traditional; Volunteerservice activities influenced by the government and lack of autonomy; Youthvolunteer in large system environment effected by the bureaucracy inertia. Chapter4is proposed countermeasures, from three aspects, the government, the society and thevolunteer organizations.
