The Research Of Deng Xiaoping Thought Of Political System Reform

With the constant improvement of China’s socialist market economic system,propelling the reform of the political system is imperative. Deng Xiaoping’s reform ofthe political system is the science guiding ideology of contemporary China’s politicalreform and it highly summarized the construction of China’s socialist democraticpolitics. Therefore, in-depth study of Deng Xiaoping’s reform of the political systemhas great practical and theoretical significance.This paper evaluates Deng Xiaoping political reform which includes developmentof the historical process, the basic content and values, using by a literature searchmethod, comparative analysis of the law and theory with practice, and draws severalachievements.The first part concerns the formation and development of the historical process.Peace and development as the theme of the times, the historical experience of theconstruction of China’s socialist democratic politics and the success or failure of thesocialist countries democratic political construction in the Soviet Union and EasternEurope are its historical background. The formation and development of the historicalprocess is divided into four periods which are nascent stage, basically forming stage,the mature stage, and the perfect stage.The second is about the main content of Deng Xiaoping’s reform of the politicalsystem. On the whole, it includes the nature of the connotation political reform, thenecessity of political reform, the goal of the reform, the main way to the politicalreform and so on.The third part focuses on revelation of Deng Xiaoping’s thoughts on politicalreform. The revelation of Deng Xiaoping’s Thoughts on political reform includes mustbe consistent commitment to adhere to the Four Cardinal Principles, the principle ofgradual, and the leading cadres of the four modernizations policy.
