The object of this study is Taiwan society’s "national identification" in the context of political culture. As concern of solution to cross-strait relations,"national identification" reflects the profound essence of the Taiwan social phenomenon; as a psychological orientation of political system, political culture contains the cultural code of the course of Taiwan history. The main body of this paper will use political culture’s three orientations as an entry point, that is political cognition, political emotional and political evaluation. Combined with the methods of comparative politics, along the three orientations’features, and through the comparative study of the changes of Taiwan society "national identification" reflected from the political culture of the three orientations between the early days of restoration and after the banning, embodies the importance of political cognition symbol, political emotional symbol and political evaluation symbol of Taiwan political culture in the change of "national identification" of Taiwanese. It reveals that, to achieve the goal of regression and shaping "national identification" of Taiwan society, can not only be rely on consanguinity and national emotions which emphasized by many scholars, but should be pay more attention to the three orientations of political culture.Therefore, through the comparative study of "China’s national identification" of Taiwan society from the perspective of three aspects of political culture will help us to profound understanding the surface phenomena of Taiwan’s social history and the interactive mode of the deep structure. It has the important selected topic value and academic significance for the study of Taiwan, especially for the research of "China’s national identification" of Taiwan society.
