Abstract/Summary:
The problem of left-at-home children is a special social problem followed by the society’s transition in China and is a byproduct of three agricultural problems, which has aroused all round attention from the society. It’s meaningful in practice and theory to research this subject and find solution which could increase the local economy and enhance the construction of harmonious society.This article takes the left-at-home children in Su Jiadian town of Hua Chuan County as sample, as to analyze the problem and explore the causes, with the purpose of finding solutions to solve the left-at-home children problem, on the basis of sociology, economics, education and psychology knowledge and the research thoughts of finding the problem, analyzing it and solving it.Firstly, This article introduces the concept and main models of left-at-home children on the basis of survey analysis and children education theory, and thereafter find the features and impacts of the problem. Then this article moves to the family, education, psychology, behavior and security situations of left-at-home children, which shows family structure collapses, studying marks falls, some even quit from school, psychology problems occur and security problem is severe. This article explores the reasons to the problem from the society system aspect and direct cause aspect. This problem is mainly caused by society system, school, family and community influence and rooted caused by the system of urban and rural structure system and directly caused by the absence of guardian and lack of efficient communication and education, left-at-home children feel lonely, there are not enough attention to those children, the rules evaluating school are unreasonable and teachers are under much pressure. At last this article proposes some countermeasures and solutions which focus on optimizing system reform, strengthening family education sense, increasing guardian’s quality, constructing fine education atmosphere, setting up left-at-home children files, increasing countryside teacher’s quality, caring the children’s mental health, increasing society attention, developing local rural economy and decreasing labor force transferring and make a better environment for children to grow up.
