| Officials’governance has long been considered as the primary priority when rulers preserving their dominant position. And the way to solve the problem of the officials governence totally is the law which made by the governor to punish the officials in their administrational work. As the last dynasty in the long feudal history of ancient China, the Qing dynasty is also the era that feudalism peaked. After establishing its political power and given that the dominance would not be distinct if the residual problems of official governance are not completely cleared, the Qing dynasty modified and formulated legislation on punishment for illegal officials which are in favor of its reign on the basis of summarizing the ruling concept of past dynasties and legislation on punishment for illegal officials. As its constant modification, this legislation is maturing in the process of the three-hundred-year rule of Qing dynasty. Taking concrete cases as the research subject and based on the relevant legislation on officials’violating punishment, this paper aims to discuss legislation on punishment for illegal officials and the problems exist in its practice.This paper consists of three parts. In the first part, it sketches the outline of the legislative punishment for the officials’false and guilty behavior in Qing dynasty by interpreting the concrete law and procedure stipulations of legislation on punishment for illegal officials; then through analyzing the concrete cases of officials’false verdicts, inappropriate sanctions and reuse after punishment the econd part thoroughly explores and studies the problems and influences in the course of the practice of punishment for the officials inappropriate behavior. At last, this paper focuses on the features of the legislation and its practice as well as the author’s evaluation. |
