The Patriotic Education Under The Perspective Of Globalization

Globalization is one of the most important features of the world. Along with the further development of globalization, many aspects of people’s lives are affected by it. The patriotic education is must to face the globalization’s impact and challenges. First, the patriotic education’s ways are been enriched, and its content has been broaden; Second, globalization impacted the concept of State Sovereignty, shook the cultural identity and weakened the civil consciousness, etc. The patriotic education has to face these problems. Through summarizing these questions, we realized that the patriotic education must to be continuing in the context of globalization. Under the background of globalization, the patriotic education has to keep touch with the development of the times. It also should pay more attention to practice and traditional national culture, etc. Only by this way we can to adapt to the development of the times, and embodiment the patriotic education’s historicity and era. Through analyzing the patriotic education’s new connotation and problems, this paper discussed how to arouse citizens’ patriotic emotion and firm citizens’ socialist beliefs, how to carry forward the culture traditions and raise the national culture identity, how to enhance national unity and national cohesion, and even how to firm the patriotic education’s position. To sum up, it indicated through different ways to educate citizens to understand our country’s situation correctly, and make the party, social, the motherland the harmony of the three in the citizens’ mind. Finally, this paper briefly mentioned how to improve the patriotic education’s efficiency.
