From Charismatic Polical Mode To Legal Polical Mode

This thesis is focuses on the research of the charismatic political mode and the legal political mode,it introduces the process that Mr lee kuan yew transform the charismatic authoritarian political mode in revolution period to the legal authoritarian political mode in the the construction and power period with the development of the times. On this basis,with the development of economy, it introduces the authoritarian mode of Singapore is facing different challenges in different period, and the measures that Mr lee kuan yew taken. It also discusses the impact of Mr Lee kuan yew’s governing idea to the formation and development of political model of Singapore,and what kind of significance to our country. My thesis mainly includes the following three parts:The first part describes the influence of Mr lee kuan yew on the formation of the political mode of Singapore from the independent times to the1980s of Singapore, this paper explains the characteristics of political mode of Singapore, the reasons why Mr lee kuan yew choose a single big party authoritarian political mode, and the influence of lee kuan yew’s governing idea to the formation of political mode of Singapore, and the measures that Mr lee kuan yew taken to establish and consolidate the political mode of Singapore.The second part describes the challenges that the political mode of Singapore were facing from the1980s to the1990s of Singapore, and the measures that Mr lee kuan yew were taken when facing challenges.The third part describes that there were new developments of the political mode of Singapore from the1990s to the present day, and the measures that the leaders of Singapore of lee kuan yew, Mr Goh Chok Tong, Mr lee hsien loong were taken.
