Criminal Law Protection And Research Of Virtual Property

With the rapid development of science and technology,the Internet has penetratedinto all fields of people’s life.Then,network virtual property which is different from thetraditional property emerged as the times require.Network virtual property promotednetwork prosperity.But at the same time,network virtual property crime is also growingwith each passing day,which seriously affected the network game industry’s healthydevelopment and pose a threat to social stability,caused a tremendous impact oncriminal law system of Chinese traditional legal system.At present,our criminalprotection of virtual property is blank.Therefore,we should put the virtual property intothe scope of the criminal law as soon as possible.And how to use the criminal law toprotect virtual property is the problem to the theoretical circle and the judicial circle.Theauthor studied on the criminal law protection of virtual property on the basis of others’research results.By analyzing on the concept,scope and legal attribute of virtualproperty,combined with the current judicial practice of virtual property crime,the authorfurther point out the necessary of the criminal protection of virtual property,then,putforward some suggestions on the legal protection of virtual property in China based onthe research of the actual situation of our country and the virtual property protectionexperience of different countries and regions.
