Till now, companies have become an indispensable force to promote social and economic development. It has never been a mysterious thing to open a company in most countries in the word. However, along with the generation, growth and the ups and downs in the growth process of the company,"corporate governance" is becoming a problem that is not easily avoided. How to make the company more healthily function? How to make the company become more powerful? How to run the company more efficiently? It is exaggerated to say that over a large number of politicians, academics, entrepreneurs are thinking about and seeking the ultimate answer to these questions all the time, however, a completely unified conclusion has not appeared till now, so we can see that "Corporate Governance" is not a simple proposition.Facing such a complex topic with so strong theoretical and practical nature, in consideration of my own limited capacity, this essay will mainly focus on the research and analysis of the representative models of corporate governance model of different countries in the world, including the British-American model of corporate governance, the German-Japanese model of corporate governance, family firm governance model and the model of corporate governance in countries with economies in transition.
