Proudhon’s concept of ownership has a large influence on our country. He argues thatownership is theft and calls for abolishing the Capitalist private ownership. His perspective ofrealizing public ownership in Marx is absorbed and transmitted critically.Although his sense of ownership has a big shock, it is not divided between thebackground he lived and the critique of capitalism. We can say at that time, Proudhon’s senseof ownership, which in order to attack the capitalist, is very useful. Times are changing, thedevelopment of socialism and the scenario of his are not less the same. Compared his sense ofownership with the traditional laws on ownership, we can see his ideas and main perspectiveon ownership is further apart. Through anglicizing some important elements of the ownershipand combining with the development of social practice, it is not difficult to see the defect ofhis mind.With now China in the stage of rapid development of socialist market economy and in atime of reform and transition, our laws on the ownership is changing continuously. Severalamendments to the Constitution are clearly proved. So we can view on Marx Doctrine onceagain, which is as a long-term guiding ideology. In the same time, we can trace the history ofownership concept, reviewing the creation of Proudhon’ thought and his debate with Marx. Inthis way, we can see how his thought of ownership to be critically inherited. It is necessary tocombine with the contemporary actuality of our country and think about the land system ofour country again.The core content of the article is:Why Proudhon’s views were criticized by Marx, which led his though not much in theacademia of our country. The opinion of public ownership of land brings what kind ofinfluence to our country and how to reflect its effect.In other words, owing to the change of our social status, we may now have to approve ofMarx’s criticism of Proudhon’s thought. On the contrary, we need to reflect Proudhon’s publicownership of land system which Marx favored.
