Study On Tang Bin’s Concept Of Law Enforcement

The period of early days of the Qing Dynasty was a time of tremendous changes.There are various contradictions and conflicts in society. As a government officer, TangBin (1627——1687) had obtained good achievements in law enforcement. The author hasconcluded his concept of law enforcement by study on behavior which he did for changethe defect of law enforcement. And his conceptions are enforce law should pragmaticallyand precisely, justly and incorruptibly, pursuing efficiency and based on person. Theauthor also has concluded the characteristic of his law enforcement’s conceptions which ispractice. It is undeniable that Tang Bin’s conceptions of law enforcement had effected byNeo-Confucianism, so they have historical limitations, but his good achievements provedthat his conceptions of law enforcement were meet the requests of law. Meanwhile, bycompared Tang Bin’s conceptions of law enforcement with our conceptions of lawenforcement, the author has concluded that building correct Law enforcement’sconceptions should connect the “rule of law” with “rule of man”, and Tang Bin’s way isworth us to think about.
