The Money Concept Of Marx

Money concept is a very important concept of Marxist Philosophy. The development of money concept lies in the development of Marxist Philosophy. It could be specified more scientifically since historical materialism had been established.Based on the early and mature outputs of Marxist Philosophy, this paper analyzed the historical development and specific content of money concept, in the view of Marxist Philosophy. The article can be divided into four parts:The first part analyzed early money concept including the relationship between the money and private fortune, which was based on the viewpoint of humanism. Besides that, this part specified the theory of Money Alienation which came from the theory of Labor Alienation. So it proved that the early theory of Money Alienation has significant influence on mature philosophy of money concept.The second part gave detail introduction of mature money concept in the view of Marxist historical materialism. For example, it criticized Proudhon’s theory of Labor Money. Otherwise, it introduced the course, the essence and the function of the money; it also analyzed the theory of Money Fetishism.The third part compared Marxist money concept and Simmel’s money theory. Based on their different theories, the paper focused on the different ways of seeking liberty. It tried to understand the differences between Marxist money concept and the other ideologists’theories.The fourth part put Marxist money theory into current social economic environment. It specified the contradictoriness and dialectics of money. It also pointed out the possible of financial crisis which was important in our market economic exploration.
