The Research On Chongqing Peasant’s Quality In The Course Of Peasant’s Citizenship

Chongqing is the only municipality in the western regions. It is also the nationalpilot region for comprehensive reforms on balancing urban and rural. In overallsituation of promoting coordinated regional development and promoting the reform andopening-up, Chongqing has an important strategic position. The "big city with a bigrural" characteristic, which is Chongqing’s main characteristics of a typical dualstructure, determines that peasant’s citizenship is an important goal in the process ofurbanization; it is also one of the important tasks placed in front of the ChongqingMunicipal Government.Because of various of limitations, there are many obstacles in the process ofpeasant’s citizenship, the farmers’ quality is the fundamental factors, which determinethe success rate of the peasant’s citizenship. Judging from the current overall quality ofthe peasant of Chongqing Municipality, the quality of the peasant’s situation is notoptimistic, therefore, we need to strengthen the quality education of peasant’scitizenship from a strategic perspective, improve the overall quality of the peasant, so asto promote the process of peasant’s citizenship.This thesis focuses on the actual situation of peasant’s quality in the process ofpeasant’s citizenship, start with analyzing the quality education, the peasant’scitizenship, review the theories of peasant’s citizenship and peasant’s quality educationhome and abroad. Referring to the successful experience of peasant’s quality educationin developed countries, analysis the current farmers’ basic quality of the condition andquality of educational needs in terms of ideological and moral qualities, scientific andcultural qualities, mental qualities, and their children’s education, pointing out theconstraining factors that affect peasant’s quality in the process of peasant’s citizenship,and from the strategic height of understanding the important of improve the quality ofpeasant, which plays an important part in accelerating the process of peasant’scitizenship.Through integrating social resources, carrying out the farmers’ quality of CitizensEducation Project, so as to improve the overall quality of peasant and speed up theprocess of peasant’s citizenship in Chongqing Municipality.
