In China, a country which is experiencing the period of socialtransformation, with the rapid development of society and economy,public-involved economic crimes, which cause direct damage to themasses’ interests and seriously disrupt the order of the market economy, are booming and turn out to be an important factor that will affect socialstability. To discover and reveal the universal rules of the occurrence, development and causes and mechanism of public-involved economiccrimes, in my thesis, I have carefully selected several typical andrepresentative real cases in recent years which had very bad social effectand caused serious consequences. I adopt a scientifically standard methodof case study, from the happening background, the motivation, the externalinfluence, to the involvement with the public and the effect on the society, and finally dig out the causes of these criminal actions of eachabove-mentioned step. The study on the driving force of causes and mechanism focuses onthe elements that essentially decide the occurrence and causes andmechanism of events, especially on the nature and type of the event chain;the analysis about the multi-elements of causes and mechanism focuses on the elements that will affect evolution and their complex relationships. On the basis of analyzing typical cases, I try to define the inter-relatedelements during the event causes and mechanism. The structure ofclustered relationship, which mainly takes advantage of complex networktheory and methods, is the structure of spreading that is caused by theinteraction between participants in a specific event. I aim to structure thetheoretical model of the causes and mechanism of public-involved crimes,to clarify the basic situation of such kind of crimes, so as to propose properand feasible thoughts and countermeasures of regulation.
