Establish A Subject About The Ngo As The Core Support Of The Floating Children Social Support System Research

As children of migrant workers, migrant children become vulnerable groups insociety，by the impact of urban-rural dual structure and social transformation。Studiessuggest that a serious lack of social support is an important reason for the problem ofmigrant children。Study of social support for migrant children is not only conducive tochange in the objective migrant children, to provide new ideas to solve the problem ofmigrant children, but also conducive to maintaining social stability and promoting theharmonious development of society at the macro level.Project X is the typical practice to promote the establishment of the migrantchildren’s social support system in recent years, NGO agencies as the core。Based onthe practical significance and social support theory as theoretical basis, this paperstudy the structure、characteristics and migrant children satisfaction situation of thissocial support system established by project X。Examine the effectiveness of thissystem, and give discussed and recommendations on how to set up and improve themigrant children’s social support system by literature analysis and case interviews onthe X plan.The results show that: the migrant children’s social support system established byX plans provide migrant children four aspects of social support in education,economic, urban integration and personal development, which show features mainlyin four aspects including: the larger social support networks, family and kinshipsupport as main support, a wide range of social support bareing large difference in allareas and the tend to self-support System。basic needs of life and education needs ofmigrant children in the support are better met, but urban integration andself-realization satisfaction remain difficult.This prove that the migrant children’ssocial support system established by X plans have produced a certain effect, butshortcomings still remain on restrictions of the objective conditions.Obviously X program provides an effective template for practice in establishingand improving the migrant children’s social support system. Still, this article arguesthat only though the mobilization of all social forces fully and integration on theresources effectively from the government, families, communities, schools, massmedia, social dimension, the better migrant children’s social support system can beestablished and maintained,and the social problems of migrant children can besloved in long-term.
