| This paper aimed at having a discussion on the utilization of western art history as resourcrs Western art history resource in Miao Xiaochun’s video art works. The author has drawn a full picture of Miao Xiaochun’s video art works and taken a thorougly close reading, to achieve a comprehensive understanding of Miao Xiaochun’s works. The author also has analyzed the reason that why he uses western art history resources as the creation framework and how he used these resources in the creation of art works. As an artists with MA degree from Department of Art History, how he understood art history, and how this experiece related to his art works, as well as his artistic characteristics and use of resources in the history of Western art. |
