In the contemporary context, the art concepts, the observation methods and the art techniques of the traditional Chinese painting faced some problems, which is in fact the development of the traditional Chinese painting.The author rethought the art concepts and the creation methods of Chinese painting in different art language systems of techniques by using two different traditional materials and nontraditional materials, in order to research the development of Chinese painting on the study of the condition and the problems of Chinese painting. Especially after the using and exploring of the nontraditional material—propylene, the author found the art concepts and the creation methods of Chinese painting could be evolved and advanced in the new art techniques language system, and its original and natural connotations could be more enriched."Artistic conception" was the comment standard and the art direction of the traditional Chinese painting. With the development of times, its culture and background changed and its materials and techniques varied gradually too. So its connotation certainly changed in the contemporary context. In this case, to know what is "Artistic conception" in the contemporary context was positive. The article analyzed its reality and its core and extended the concept of "fantasy world", which was the contemporary presentation of the traditional concept of "artistic conception" and kept on playing a role in the contemporary context.The author rethought some concepts:"ink artistic conception", the openness of images, space, reality and fantasy world, size etc. by the art experiences from the new art techniques language system.The article concluded that the art concept and the creation methods of Chinese painting were developing and advancing in times.
