Xun Zi's Political Thought Research

Synthesizer of the Confucian Xunzi, is one of the great political thinkers in ancient China.His combination of etiquette in by splitting into a unified political thought during the WarringStates period, to a certain extent, conform to the trend of historical development. Moreimportant is that it became a feudal society of China since the Qin and Han political theory ofsystem design guide, each dynasty dynasties in China’s political development has had afar-reaching impact. To the point of doctrine of evil human nature this article intensivelydiscussed the political thoughts of Xunzi’s etiquette with, mining and the idea behind themodern importance to China’s political reform ideological resources, with a view to reforms atthe theoretical level of benefit to us.This article is divided into three parts, namely: introduction, body and conclusion.Introduction mainly expounds the value and significance of this study, in summary, theresearch ideas and methods.The body is divided into three chapters:Chapter I will follow the Mencius and Gaozi’s debate ideas on human nature, which focuson analysis of Xunzi’s thought of human nature, that Xunzi’s doctrine of evil human nature forits combination of etiquette provides human nature basis of political thought and theory.Chapter II on the propriety and legitimacy of laws and implementation of specificdiscussion on the feasibility and other related content, respectively, auxiliary primary law, lawrespecting road, morality and law were combined together to build a combination of dynamicand static and stable operating system, is the perfect way to achievement of ideal.Chapter further described as individuals of the subject in Xunzi’s thought of politicalideals on how to achieve the aim at absolute perfection; as the monarchy should be the rule ofvirtue, but the moral ideals and reality gap was big, had to succumb to the cruelty of reality,resulting in disadvantages of virtue to rule.Conclusion on this article for a summary of narrative, and reveals the realisticenlightenment of Xunzi’s political thought.
