Xie Guozhen History Research

Xie Guozhen is a famous history bibliographer in modern China and a well-known historian in Ming and Qing Dynasties. The main direction of his research is historical materials, history bibliographer, the histroy in Ming and Qing Dynasties.However, there have no studies on the Xie Guozhen monographs in academic world, the article about Xie Guozhen are mostly memories, from which the value does not reflect the high academic. In addition, although these articles have some value in some aspects of research.But the reason is that they tend to focus on certain aspects, so the research is relatively dispersed, there were few scholars make a comprehensive summary and evaluation form the whole history of the Xie Guozhen.The author studied the academic books and articles of Xie Guozhen, then study his achievements of his thought and features from the notes on Ming and Qing Dynasties, the research of China Ancient History and Bibliography. The author provide a useful reference and inspiration for Contemporary academic research through the way which concern about restore complete picture of historical research and Summarize the methods of historical research. This paper composed of six chapters, a conclusion and a Introduction. The following major elements:Introduction, this paper narrate briefly the origin of this study, the current situation of academic research and writing ideas of this paper.The first chapter,"something about Xie Guozhen", through learning his experience life of academic study, outlining the source and development of his academic study, and he works to make the relevant order. Then arrange academic works.The second chapter,"Xie Guozhen and the research of historical materials", focues on his work related to historical materials, Arranging his historical works, analysis his ideas about historical materials, concluding methods of his historical research.The third chapter,"Xie Guozhen and the research of the notes on Ming and Qing Dynasties", started discussion of research notes, which concern about Ming and Qing Dynasties, arrange his results of the research about Ming and Qing Dynasties unofficial history, study his notes for the understanding of the Ming and Qing unofficial history, summarized his research methods of the notes of the Ming and Qing unofficial history.The fourth chapter,"Xie Guozhen and Bibliography", through the study the works about bibliography, arrange his results of the research about bibliography, analysis his ideas about bibliography, summary his research methods of his catalog.The fifth chapter,"Xie Guozhen and academic study of the Ming and Qing History" discussion his research around his academic history in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, summarized his academic research results about the history of Ming and Qing Dynasties. Quest though about the history of Ming and Qing Dynasties, summarized his research methods about the history of Ming and Qing Dynasties.The sixth chapter,"Xie Guozhen and the research of China Ancient History", analysis his ideas which is not concern about historical materials, the notes of Ming and Qing Dynasties, the bibliography and the Ming and Qing History research. Summarized the results of his study of Chinese ancient history, comprehensive Analysis of his historical studies in China reflect the history of ideas, thus concluding research methods of Chinese history.Conclusions, this part is a summary and distillation, then give a Summary and Evaluation about his research methods. Through these analysises and Comparisons, Xie-Guozhen has a important status and influence in Marxist historian.
