Repeat With Image

Literature is a kind of repeat, combining with memory and the contemplation. In literary works, the repeating thing is a kind of image, a kind of mind which is very similar and little difference with things in memory. The research of Repeat has a long history, many scholars are committed to find a prototype for the repeat, while Deleuze’s Differences Doctrine re-opened up a way for the repeat research. From the view of difference to see similar in repeat, we can fully aware of the wonderful feeling of deja vu in literature repeat. Benjamin’s repeat research bringed out the concept of "image",which is a third party deriving out of repeated. This paper starts from the image, using memory,metaphor, irony, to analysis the repeat in the literature.Repeat is a reproduction, it is not something out of nothing, but to establish on the basis of memories. Memories is a form of repeat which has a close relationship with time, Deleuze’s difference research about repeat is based on Bergson rolling concept of time. The repeat time is not a physical time, but real time. Time image was born in the collision of two memory of recall type of repetition, it grabbed the pulse of the physical time, want to win the eternal crown, but it ultimately can not resist the brutal physical time, the deep self-reaching eternal but surface can not resist the erosion of passage. The Time Image is something which came from struggle of real time and physical time, of deep self and surface self, so it is deeply marked by the tragic spirit.There is a class Duplication of reproduction which conform to the intent of the repetition, so is metaphor. Metaphor is the most common and basic repetition in literature,the metaphor image is neither completely like the body, nor entirely like the Yu body, but a process of from real to virtual, a third party of interaction of the body and Yu body, a dreaming process. Metaphor always brews a fantasy. At the behind of Metaphor image, there is awareness of avoid and taboo. Metaphor is a real good liberation means to avoid the real through fantasy. Using metaphor in poetry and fiction to achieve the effect of the fact that trying to hide something.Repeated reproduction is upstream, anti-duplication of its meaning, irony is a model. The irony in the position of the outer, but also established on the basis of the contrast between two sides of repeat, is a special image derived from the mutual. The irony imagery can sometimes provoke funny smile, sometimes make people feel a deep sense of tragedy, it also depends on whether viewers doping their emotions.
