The production and communication of children’s image is an important way to study a society’s view and values of children. Children’s education of the Communist Party of China has always been to develop reliable successors of communism as the leading direction, and through the artist’s image-building, the "successor" of the spirit eventually present for children’s image of the example education significanceThis paper argues that the new China fine arts children’s image in most of them are after "dual model" and then construct a successors image, and as the change of successor consciousness in different historical period, education discipline and artistic expression changing at the same time.On the discussion of the successors of the "double shape" in accordance with the successor cultivation model of three historical periods according to the time sequence is divided into three chapters, Liberated areas "red child" training mode, new China "new socialism" training pattern as well as the cultural revolution period of extremely "successors of communism" training mode. Although the Liberated areas children’s education and art creation is for war service, but this is the "successor" training mode of formation stage, and establish some basic relations, the image of the child generally military. After the founding of new China, the artists continued to model of Liberated areas, but the requirement for "the newcomer" involves more than morality, intelligence and physique, beauty,fatigue, also makes the trend of the development of children’s image diversifyed. However, as the education revolution gradually developed, and the growing emphasis on children moral education, law education eventually make the images of children in art history toward adult single direction.In this paper, through the development of children’s image combing new China’s art, combined with various times of the education policy specific requirements for the "successors" image, to reveal the deep relationship between children successor image discourse and new China’s successors of the quality characteristics and the growth context of children. At the same time also provides another perspective for the study of Chinese art history.
