In recent years, the international community has paid more attention to theChinesenative Literature, and through copyright trading, the Chinese native literature has beencontinuously spread abroad. Nevertheless, the cross-cultural communication of nativeliterature still has a long way to go. In the context of globalization, the cross-culturecommunication of native literature comes into the research field. In the wave of globalcultural conflict and the search for cultural identity, how the native literature preservesits national identity in the confrontation and interactionbetween globalization andregionalization, homogeneity and heterogeneity, and achieves an effectivecross-cultural communication has become one of the most important research topicsin the context of globalization. The literary soil and fermentation ingredients have been changed. In the context ofglobalization, what can be done for the native literature to face these changes?Whatactions can be taken to prevent the native literature from suffering "literary aphasia”and to stop it from declining in the gardens of the world literature, or to guard againstthe risk of the colonization of its foothold by western literature? Chinese literature isrooted in the Chinese culture and continues to enrich it as the soul of theChineseculture. How to make their voices heard in the forest of the world literature byeffective cross-cultural communication, share our literature works with the peoples ofthe world, and promote the cross-cultural exchange in-depth to achieve its mostextensive and far-reaching effect is the main focus of this paper. This paper will look for similarities and differences between the communication ofnative literature and local culture. By applying the concepts of "Gatekeeper",“Acculturation Analysis",“Culture Discount "," Stereotype "," Selective Cognitive”,"Low Context" and "High Context" theory in cross-cultural communication studies, the paper tries to explain Chinese native literaturein the context of globalization. The in-depth analysis of the causes and proposed countermeasures and the possiblesolutions to conduct effective cross-cultural communication of Chinese nativeliterature will prepare a realistic guideline for the carry-out of the spread of nativeChinese literature to other cultures. Theinnovative point of the paper is the applicationof the concepts in cross-cultural communicationstudies to explain the barriers of thenative literature communication in five aspects:Communicators, Contents, Means,Effects, and Audiences.
