The Contemporary Chinese College Students Endure: Conceptual Analysis And Empirical Research

In recent years, indigenous psychology is as an important research direction inthe field of psychology. More and more psychologists shift their attention fromoverseas research to the local culture. They make the Chinese culture as a veryimportant study variables, and the actual observation of the psychological andbehavioral phenomena as research subject, and the psychological ideas andexperiences which Chinese people are familiar with as research concept. They searchfor the design and tools which adjust to the Chinese people and their psychologicalconcept and do the indigenous psychological research with the Chinese characteristics.REN is an important psychological phenomenon in daily life of the Chinese people.REN is concrete results of the Chinese traditional cultural heritage in thepsychological structure.REN is worth to study as a good topic. In this study, weanalyze the concept of REN firstly and clarify the original meaning and extendedmeaning of REN. Study2is about REN of traditional Chinese culture. Through thethoughts of Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism, we understand REN of meaningsin the root of traditional Chinese culture. Study3is about REN of the openquestionnaire survey on327undergraduates to understand contemporary collegestudents’ knowledge of REN in general. It was found that college students showed thetraditional culture inheritance and vicissitude about the understanding of REN.
