Event And Exhibition

As a representation of western exhibitions, Salone internazionale del Mobile di Milano is a kind of typicalcity event. It has all the elements and contents of city event, and is well known of high design which hidesin these elements and contents.This thesis takes the perspective of city event, choosing the exhibition of2011as an example, using thetheory of five elements as a principle, abstracting the four elements of ground, architecture, display anddesigner, and analysis the composition, concept, method and technique of each element in the order fromobjectivity to subjectivity, concluding the characteristic of design. Finally, the thesis concludes in main thewhole characteristics of design of Salone internazionale del Mobile di Milano2011, answering the questionthat why this exhibition could be the top design event in the contemporary world. Meanwhile, stands on thepoint of our country, gives suggestions about how to hold the same typical of exhibition in China.
