The Use Of Modern Painting In The Image And Its Metaphorical

This paper analyzes the frequent use and organization of pictures inmodern painting. Of all the information sources that we can obtain, picture resourcesoccupy a considerable proportion. Whether we admit it or not that, we are interferedand affected by these pictures more or less when we are painting. So what deservesour thoroughly ponders is that how to differentiate and analyse the unique attributesof these pictures and how to actively take them for advantageous materials in ourpainting organization and construction.In modern painting field, there are so many artists who use pictures in art makingfrequently and efficiently. Fisher, a modern painter from America, and GerhardRichter, an artist from Germany, both are templates of success. Obviously, LucTuymans, a unique modern artist from Belgium, pays more attention to the truthbehind pictures. This paper tries to take Luc Tuymans’ works as examples to analyzethe uniqueness and emphasis when picture resources are used by artists. In chapterone, how to choose and obtain what we need from the rapidly growing pictures isdiscussed. And Tuymans’ select direction and use of pictures are analyzed in threebrief sections. In chapter two, pictures’ influence in painting organization andconstruction is analyzed, including how to choose what we truly need from a picture,how to make personalized and differential treatment of pictures and so on. Andcommon ways of organization in modern painting are discussed. The third partanalyzes the concept in Tuymans works.In chapter four, metaphor of pictures isimportantly discussed and that of Tuymans’ works is analyzed.
