Clara Schumann (Clara Schumann, September13,1819--May20,1896), German pianist, composer, piano teacher. She was Born inLeipzig. From five-year-old, she was learning the piano with his father,when she was8-year-old, she could be able to have a recital,19-year-old, boarded the music of Vienna. She is Robert Schumann(German pianist, composer) s wife. Clara Schumann’s playing,composing and teaching are terrific. She is one of the greatest femalemusicians of the19th century.Clara Schumann as a musician, she is a pianist, composer, andteacher; As a female, She is the daughter of Wieck, Schumanns wife, amother of eight children. As a wife, she lived under the huge halo ofRobert Schumanns and how shes living conditions? As a daughter,under the guidance of the great educator father, Wieck, how is theroad of her creative and teaching? She dedicated her life to thepromotion of Schumanns works, spent a lot of time and energy forplaying, and how is her playing life? These feminist perspectives andresearch methods to explore the core issue of this thesis.The paper is divided into five chapters. The first chapter focuseson feminism and feminist music criticism these two aspects of the theory,the object of study and classification collate and analyze the use of anew research perspective, provide a theoretical basis for ClaraSchumanns art road. Chapter II is about the two major aspects ofcareer and family roles of Clara Schumann. When she as theprofessional role, she is a pianist, composer and teacher; but as familyroles she is daughter, wife, mother and friend. Chapter III is aboutfeminist perspectives and research methods, analysis and appraisal ofthe identity of the Clara Schumann pianist. This chapter is from Clarasrepertoire, playing, as well as the identity of unique and difficult situation of the female performer. Chapter IV is about ClaraSchumann’s creative of identity analysis and appraisal of feministperspectives and research methods. This chapter from Clara overallcreative works type of piano works by genre, structural characteristics,as well as female composers of their own identity, particularity with theplight of the argument. Chapter V is about feminist perspectives andresearch methods, analysis and appraisal of the identity of the ClaraSchumann Piano Teacher. This chapter is from the teaching methods,teaching style, teaching content and identity as a female pianoteacher, the unique advantages of the plight of proof.This paper attempts to combine music historian, music analytics,sociology and psychology theory, feminist perspectives and researchmethods, objective presentation of a19th century female musicians.
