"ghost" And The Ghost - Concept Differences And Cross-cultural Issues

In the history, Different cultures were formed as the result of many causes, and the unique of every culture lead to several problems in cross-culture connection, such as culture shock, false identification, distortion, and malicious understanding. In order to find a salvation of these problems, we need to figure out how the differences come. Although, humanity in common supposed to be admitted by most cultures, but individual which born in a certain culture atmosphere hardly get rid of his own culture background. And when he get into another country, try to connect with local people, he possibly realize that its not easy to avoid taboos of them, and always feel embarrassment in conversations.Western people mostly have a same religious conscience, Christian all believe in God. On the other hand, most influent religion is Buddhism in China, and ordinary people lack of loyalty on Buddha.This thesis focus on a core conception, ghost, which is relate to death and beliefs of supernaturalism. So, within fears of death and gods, people create euphemism to instead of saying death. People of China and western countries both believe that Hell exist in afterlife world, but they have different ideas about what the hell should be. Discuss of these topics helps people from western and Chinese to understand each other, and it’s benefit to achieve better cross-culture acceptation.
