The relationship between humans and the environment in the form of artThe relationship between humans and the environment is very strong and an integral component of the socioeconomic society. This interaction between humans and their surrounding environment can be seen in the form of art and is diverse between different cultures. By analyzing various aspects of paintings, this thesis is going to discuss this interaction and how it is expressed through art. The relationship will be studied from a large social context in the field of philosophy. From a smaller inter-personal aspect, the relationship will be analyzed by examining different forms of art and painting techniques that result from feelings that arise out of this interaction. Lastly, this thesis is going to discuss the differences of this relationship between the eastern and western world by comparing art theory, drawing techniques, and specific paintings.From micro to macro aspects, the relationship between humans and the environment will be critically examined in the form of art. Through the use of painting and film, the differences of this relationship between the eastern and western world will be evaluated. Geography, history, and culture frame the close network between humans and their environment in art. The diversity between paintings is caused by this complex relationship influenced by different philosophies and feelings that diverse cultures create.
