Chinese and Japanese literature had the extremely deep origin, in the Japanese literature, we can often see the Chinese ancient literature’s shadow. In the Tang dynasty, Japanese was chanting poetry from us, when the novels of Tang dynasty flourished, Japanese tried their best efforts to learn Chinese ancient novels writing techniques. Chinese ancient novels have a profound influence to the Japanese ancient literature, Japan’s the Genzi Monogatari and China’s the Dream of Red Mansion, can become the two classical literature peaks, mainly due to the Zishibu’s and Caoxueqin’s understanding of the novel literary style. Under the influence of traditional Chinese culture, Zishibu and Caoxueqin have the same views in the novel, the novel views refer to the people’s knowledge of the novel literary style, it’s the foundation for the creation of novelist. However, in different local culture, people have different understanding of the novel literary style, therefore, in the views of novel, Zishibu and Caoxueqin still have differences. The author have detailed statistics which contain the meaning of the novel in the two books, in order to found the views of the novel in the Genzi Monogatari and the Dream of Red Mansion, which have great research value.This paper is mainly divided into five chapters to comparative and analysis the novel view between the Genzi Monogatariand the Dream of Red Mansion.The first chapter has combed the previous novel view of the Genzi Monogatari and the Dream of Red Mansion,and comparison the similarities and differences between the Japanese understanding of the novel literary style and the novel view of Chinese ancient novel.For the study of the two novels view compared, it provides a comprehensive grasp for the view of the Genzi Monogatari and the Dream of Red Mansion.The second chapter compares the ideas of fiction and reality between the real life and the history, discussing the similarities and differences of the two authors in the works of art, the fictionality and the reality.The third chapter mainly around the Zishibu and Caoxueqin in the creative motivation,works of art innovation in content and form, character theory,compares the similarities and differences of two works of art originality.The fourth chapter mainly around the novel functions of education, entertainment and cognitive, comparing three aspects of Zishibu and Caoxueqin on the different understanding of the social function and art works.The fifth chapter treats the specific performance of the works as the entrying point to discuss the two works influence to the later creation.
