With the rapid development of vocal music in China, Chinese traditional and modern art songs, which of vocal music teaching tracks in professional art school, play an important status in the classroom.Singing the different styles of vocal music can embody the vocal skills of learners.Now, when they choose their work, the students always give priority to the difficulty of the song, the beautiful of melody, the classic tracks and so on.As a result, some factors which should be priority considered are ignored, for example:the background and use of the song, the learning level and singing features of singers.This thesis is about the introduction and comparative study of some Chinese traditional and modern art songs, It emphatically analys the important effect of artistic esthetic value on separating Chinese traditional art songs and Chinese modern art songs.
